You have stories to tell, and we have the tool to do it.
Bergen, April 3: We are changing the name of the world’s most advanced, story-centric newsroom control system.
Saga
In Norse mythology, Sága is a goddess associated with knowledge, history, and storytelling. She resides at Sökkvabekkr—a place of flowing waters where she and Odin meet daily to share drinks and tales. Sökkvabekkr evokes imagery of a hidden or submerged brook, symbolizing wisdom's deep and continuous flow. This new name encapsulates our dedication to seamlessly empowering journalists to craft, manage, and share their stories.
What?!
Don’t worry - the tool is the same in every way except for the name and logo - even the color scheme matches. The only real difference you will notice is that onedina.com becomes saganews.com, and the login to our services will change - but the old ones will continue to work indefinitely.
Journalism at heart
The transformation from Dina to Saga underscores our belief that journalism is more than just reporting—crafting and preserving stories that matter. Just as Sága recorded the deeds of the gods, Saga will continue to support journalists in their mission to inform and inspire.
